The Mechanical, Air A, and Air B Contractor exam prep course is the same for all three exams. The manuals are the same, the exam questions are very similar, without regard to commercial versus residential applications. All of the exam prep schools that I am aware of, including mine, teach them as one course. The only difference in that the Mechanical Contractor will need to be familiar with two more manuals, the NFPA 99 and the Florida Building Code-Fuel Gas.
